He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel D. Kimmel and Betty Sue Spiva Kimmel. He is survived by: his wife Regine Wiley Kimmel of Cochran; his children, Laura Copeland (Carl) of Valdosta and Richard Kimmel of Athens; his grandchildren, Julia and Ellie Copeland of Valdosta; his brother Alan Kimmel of Panama City; his aunt Martha Spiva of Panama City, FL; and his cousins, Lee and Gary Spiva.
