She was predeceased by: her parents, Early Davis and Alice Sirmons Davis; and her brothers, Edsel Davis, Morris Davis, Julian Davis and Ralph Davis.
She is survived by: her husband C. B. "Junior" Churchwell, Jr. of Cochran; her children, Wanda Thompson (Kenny), Kay Horne (Tony), Roger Churchwell (Pam) and Ricky Churchwell (Brenda) of Cochran; her grandchildren, Hunter Thompson, Katie Cannon (Tom), Chad Churchwell (Kayla), Justin Churchwell (Melissa), Cody Churchwell, Dylan Churchwell, Jayden Churchwell, Luke Churchwell and Michael Horne; and her sisters, Margie Helms (Jimmy) of Griffin and Doris Churchwell (Cliff) of Cochran. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ruth Baptist Church, 216 Ruth Church Road, Cochran, GA 31014.
