She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester James, Sr. and Essie Bell Hueliett Spires; her husband Edwin Earl Peacock; her grandson Blake Peacock; and her siblings, Hazel Varnadoe, Virginia Ashley and Jay Spires.
She is survived by: her children, Elaine Brown (Neil), Erleene Hanson (Keith), Edwin Peacock (Sheila) of Cochran and Eve Peacock (Terri Adkins) of Dublin; her grandchildren, Eric Sikes (Christi), Jacqueline Curls (Brian), Justin Hanson, Kristen Alexander (Matthew), Dustin Evans, Jamie Gary (Ryan) and Ronnie Graham; her great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Jenna, Lindsey, Hailey, Aiden, Jonathan, Samantha, Siddalee, Rylan, Drew and Jason; and her sister Linda Sue Spires Strickland of Hazlehurst. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cochran First Baptist Church, The Baptist Children's Home or the Blake Peacock Scholarship Fund.
