She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilmer Powell and Cora Lee Phillips Powell; her former husband Gene Carr of Chester; and her son Steve Carr. She is survived by: her sons, David Carr (Kathy) of Suwanee, GA, Dennis Carr (Cheryl) of Suwanee, GA and Stan Carr (Angie) of Dublin, GA; her siblings, Cheryl Powell and Billy Powell of Cochran, GA; and her grandchildren, Katie Davidson, John Carr (Mary Rose), Will Carr (Frankie), Charlie Carr (Betsy), Abby Carr, Griffin Carr (Brittany), Regan McShane (Ryan), Whitney Lombardi, Jake Holder (Amber Allen) and Anna Charlovich (Justin). She is also survived by great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Boiling Springs Missionary Baptist Church (3572 Boiling Springs Ch Rd, Soperton, GA 30457). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Boiling Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (3572 Boiling Springs Ch Rd, Soperton, GA 30457).
