She was predeceased by: her parents, Vance Peacock Wimberly Sr. and Annie Carolyn Barlow Wimberly; her son Thomas Charles Sheley, Jr.; and her brother Vance Peacock Wimberley, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Timothy Sheley (Heather Zaresky), Tyler Sheley and Chris Wimberly (Jamie); her grandchildren, Brooklyn, Logan, Legend and Lilliana; her nephew Collin Wimberly; her uncle Earl Barlow (Zenobia); and her aunt Katherine Barlow. She is also survived by many cousins and friends.

The family request that in lieu of flowers that donations be made in her name to Georgia Canine Rescue and Rehabilitation at 235 Mac Thompson Road, Cochran, GA 31014.
