He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Alton and Carolyn Josephine Rodgers Hornsby. He is survived by: his wife Margie Pope Hornsby; his daughter Beth Hornsby; his brother Tim Hornsby; his daughter Shelby Goetz (Randall) of Cochran; his grandchildren, Jeff Kirkland (Mandi), Kyle Kirkland (Halanah) and Amanda Goetz; his great grandchildren, Luke Kirkland, Emmett Kirkland and Colby Kirkland; and his sisters, Estelle Smith (Larry) of Macon, Sarah Harrison of Indian Land, SC and Edith Faulk of Jeffersonville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
