He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Alexander and Georgia Hurst McPhaul; and his siblings, Lora McPhaul Newman and Sam Hurst McPhaul. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Dykes McPhaul of Cochran; his children, Randi Phillips (Leo), Gil McPhaul (Tom Morris) of Cochran and Jennifer Dunn (Stacey) of Birmingham, AL; his grandchildren, Leo Phillips III of Denver, CO, Sydney Phillips of Atlanta, Ala, Caroline Dunn of New York, NY and Lynn Phillips Davis of Monument, CO; his great grandchildren, Rebecca, Angelo and Lilly Davis of Monument, CO; and his sister Harriette McPhaul Adams of Gainesville, FL. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the donor's military charity of choice.
