She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Rupert Nephi Bates; her children, Mark Eugene Bates, Davie Nephi Bates and Terry Bates Allen; her parents, Eugene Murkerson and Mattie Ruth Stevens; her daughters, Melanie Witte (David) and Ruth Fielder; her grandchildren, Erin Witte (Blake Abbott), Justin Witte (Phyllisha), Lora McClure (Daniel), Colby Allen (Nicole), Shelby Allen, Jared Allen, Susie Allen, Savannah Hopps (Austin), Rhys Fielder, Grace Fielder, Camilla Fielder and Malynn Fielder; and her sister Shelby Roland. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews and brother and sisters in-law.
