It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Rowland in Cochran, Georgia, who passed away on February 28, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph "Dillard" and Willie Maude Morgan Rowland; his wife Romona Rowan Rowland; his son Mark Rowland; and his siblings, L. W., Tony Rowland, Doris Walker, Dorothy, Holmes, Willene Lucas Holton and Jeanette Oramas.
He is survived by: his children, Allen Rowland (Sonya Floyd), Wendy Mercer (William) of Wilkinson County, Sharon Rowland (Rolanda Rowland) and Rhonda Howell of Warner Robins; and his siblings, Denton Rowland (Naomi) of Donalsonville, GA, Ilene McCook (George) of Eastman, GA, Annette Adams (Ronnie) of Salisbury, MO and Martha Ann Roberson (Harold) of Butler, GA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren.
