He was predeceased by: his father David D. NeSmith (Lottie Mae Coody NeSmith); and his brothers, Elliott, George and Gerald. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Barlow NeSmith; his children, Cay Dykes (Ricky) of Bleckley County, Barry NeSmith (June) of Bleckley County, Nina Richards (Alan) of Bleckley County and Robin Norris (Johnny) of Bleckley County; and his grandchildren, Libby DeLoach (Will) and Rad Dykes (Heather).
