He was predeceased by: his parents, John G., Sr. and Julia Reynolds Mimbs; his siblings, John G. Mimbs Jr., Ruth Williams and Eunice Mimbs; and his siblings-in-law, Hilder Williams and Marie Mimbs.
He is survived by: his son Eddie Ledbetter; his grandchildren, Jayden Ledbetter of Alabama, Shelby Ledbetter of Alabama and Kendalyn Ledbetter of Alabama; his siblings, Neal Mimbs (Mildred) of Cochran, Emory Mimbs of Milledgeville, Paul Mimbs of Greenville, SC, Bruce Mimbs (Angela) of Hawkinsville, Gail Mimbs, Kathy Witherington (Eric) of Cochran, Nancy Cannon (Michael) of Chester and Sharon Tilson (Brad) of Waycross; and his sister-in-law Lisa Mimbs Webb of Meridian, MS. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Due to COVID-19 this will be immediate family only and mask will be required.
