He is survived by: his siblings, Mary Alice Shelton of Blackshear and William Wheat (Sharon) of Jacksonville; his half-brother Robert Wheat (Marilyn) of Eufaula, AL; and his nephews, David Wheat (Michelle), Kevin Strickland (Yvett) and Brian Strickland (Frankie). He is also survived by several great nieces, nephews.
