He was predeceased by: his parents, Irvin Boyd and Hattie Mims Boyd; his wife Barbara Sue Croft Boyd; and his children, Jerome Estes Boyd and Karen Kay Boyd.
He is survived by: his daughter Cassandra Boyd Bullington (Donald) of Cordele; his grandchildren, Mary Ellyn (Scott Williams) of Cochran and James Howard Bullington (Ashley) of Cordele; and his great grandchildren, Emmie Williams, Kate Williams, Elly Scott Williams, Kori Bullington and Kyle Bullington.
