He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Lassister, Jr. and Junedia Lassiter; his daughter Trina L. Waller; and his brother Kenneth Lassiter. He is survived by: his wife Connie R. Lassiter of Cochran; his children, Joe S. Lassiter (Lori) of Haynesville and Lynn Sipps (Mike) of Warner Robins; and his sister Susan Davis of Cochran. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
