It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Lawson NeSmith (Cochran, Georgia), who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sisters, Lillian and Alma. She is survived by: her siblings, Evelyn, Carlton, Jordan and Russell; her son-in-law Ash Ahsanuddin; and her granddaughter Ayesha Jade Ahsanuddin.
She could not get out to see her friends and neighbors with the pandemic, so she relied on the phone to communicate.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Cochran First Baptist Church.
