It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jewell Floyd Baker (Cochran, Georgia), who passed away on November 6, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jeff and Effie Mae Howell Floyd; her husband Leonard Carl Baker; her son Derrell Floyd Skipper; her son-in-law Jones Jackson; and her siblings, Avis Whited, Eunice Davis, Wylene Waddell, Terrell Floyd, Herman Floyd, Julian Floyd, Jefferson Floyd, Alma Berryhill, Nellie McDaniel and Lucille Mobley.
She is survived by: her daughter Barbara Jackson of Round Oak; her grandchildren, Staci Kimsey (Chris), Brian Jackson (Kim), Dee Spence (Mark), Jamie Buddemeyer (Chris) and Teresa Hill (Joe); her great grandchildren, Jessie, Nick, Joe, Chelsie, Cortney and Matt; and her sister Merle Kirkpatrick (Owen) of Roddy. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
