We are sad to announce that on July 6, 2021, at the age of 92, Jean S Thigpen of Cochran, Georgia, born in Mount Vernon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Lee and Eddle Couey Stewart; and her husband Wilmer L. Thigpen. She is survived by: her children, Wilmer L. "Sonny" Thigpen (Anita) of Slidell, LA, Dianne Thigpen of Cochran and Stewart Thigpen (Karen) of Statesboro; her grandchildren, Dee Yearty of Cochran, Dana Salaz (Jeffery) of Cochran, Dusty Yearty (Tammy) of Cochran, Jackson Thigpen and Harrison Thigpen of Statesboro; her great grandchildren, Dawson Jarrell of Cochran, D. J. of Cochran, Bo Yearty of Cochran and Brantley Salaz of Cochran; her sister Alice Currie of Statesboro; and her sister-in-law Ruth Stewart of Mt. Vernon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
