It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackie S. Haupt of Cochran, Georgia, born in Deland, Florida, who passed away on October 23, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frazier Smith and Lassie King Smith; her husband Julian M. Haupt; and her siblings, Nina Ligon, Sarah Horne, Pete Smith, Ray Smith, Ernest Smith and Frazier "Buddy" Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Diane H. Moore (Travis) of Pembroke and Dennis Haupt (Jeannie) of Cartersville; her grandchildren, Blane M. Stucki (Craig) of Savannah, Tyler Moore (Angie) of Richmond Hill, Quint Moore (Brittany) of Pembroke, Josh Haupt (Patty) of Cartersville, Zachary Haupt of Bend, OR and Caroline H. Parker (Zack) of Charlotte, NC; her great grandchildren, Mercer Stucki, Hudson Moore, Emme Moore, Karter Moore, Kennedy Moore, Braiden Haupt, Bella Haupt and Lola Haupt; and her brother Jordan Smith of Cochran. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
