He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Marion and Nanette Harrell Jones. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Jones of Cochran; his daughter Mandy White (Jack) of Eastman; his grandchildren, Katherine Helms (Donald), Abigail Muncher (Travis), Ashely White, Jolee Schrader and Trace White; and his sisters, Suenette Dill (Dan) of Clarkesville and Gretel Tidmore (Lee) of Dahlonega. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Red Cross.
