We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2025, at the age of 79, Harvey Kay McNease Jr. of Cochran, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Harvey Kay departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Harvey Kay. Though Harvey Kay may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Kay, Sr. and Doris Ella Arnett McNease. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Davis McNease of Cochran; his sons, Mark McNease (Cathy) of East Dublin and Doug McNease (Christy) of Cochran; his grandchildren, Dawson McNease (Gracie NeSmith), Logan Dowdy (Trenton) and Jordan McNease (Sara); his great grandchildren, Reese, Clayton and Atlas; and his sister Suzanne Dudley (Michael) of Jefferson. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cochran First Methodist Church (119 E Dykes St, Cochran, GA 31014). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
