He is survived by: his siblings, Betty Abney King of Hamlet, NC and Craig Bailey Abney (Ann) of Conway, SC; his nephew John Wayne King of Laurinburg, NC; his close friend Forrest Long of Cochran, GA; and his pet Tom Tom. He is also survived by his great nephew and two great nieces; his two great-great nephews.
