We are sad to announce that on December 16, 2022 we had to say goodbye to Emmett O. Bender of Cochran, Georgia, born in Columbus, Georgia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Richard Union "Cap Unie" and Johnnie Dolores Mullis Smith; his parents, Buster Bender and Fannie Smith Bender; and his daughter Colleen Bender Foskey.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Eaton (Mike) of Warner Robins, Phillip Bender, Sr. of Cochran and Loran Bender of Cochran; and the mother of his children Shirley Belfower Bender of Cochran. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the donor's church or charity of choice.
