He is survived by: his wife Martha Faye Knighton of Cochran; his children, Jerry Knighton, Cathy Thornton (Ricky), Carolyn Tedders, Mike Knighton (Tina) of Cochran and Sue Yearty (Tony) of Chester; and his siblings, Ray Knighton (JoAnn) of Cochran, Opal K. Mullis of Cochran and Claudia K. Ellington (Kenneth) of Montrose. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, beloved nieces and nephews.
