She was predeceased by: her parent William Denson; and her husband Holland Delacy "H. D." Pruitt. She is survived by: her parent Theresa Irene Bussell Barr; her daughters, Kathy Painter (Hank) of Empire and Susan Collins (Danny) of Flowery Branch; and her foster children, Sherrie Jennings (Greg) of Winter Haven, FL, Terrie Bruner (Butch) of Arizona and Scott Echols of Washington. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
