With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elder Willie J. Hatfield Jr. of Cochran, Georgia, who passed away on December 29, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Jefferson, Sr. and Florence Smith Hatfield; his wife Shirley Smith Hatfield; and his daughter Shelia Hatfield Helms. He is survived by: his son Jeff Hatfield of Cochran; his grandchildren, Davy Helms (Mitzi), Kyle Helms, Brittney Lewis, Jay Hatfield (Callie) and Scott Hatfield (Kimberly); his great grandchildren, Dallas, Aubrey, Anna Kate, Cole, Tanner and Tate; and his siblings, Charlie Hatfield of Marietta and Juanita Gay of Cochran. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
