Though Clara Woodard may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Clara Woodard touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dolly Woodard and Melton Woodard; and her daughter Linda Daniels. She is survived by: her children, Elaine Hardin (David) of Albany and Sonny Simpson of Dallas; her grandchildren, Greg Daniels (Jacqueline) of Thomson, Georgia, Heather Brown (Michael) of Thomson, Barrett Simpson of Atlanta and Shannon Overby (Troy) of Woodstock; and her close friends, Carolyn Kitchens and Ruth Lawson. She is also survived by thirteen Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (101 SE 2nd St, Cochran, GA 31014). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cochran First Baptist Church (101 SE 2nd St, Cochran, GA 31014).
