The memory of Carolyn Allen in Cochran, Georgia, who passed away on March 2, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Clyde NeSmith and Catherine Fountain NeSmith; her husband Morgan Gilbert Allen; and her daughter Margaret Carol Allen. She is survived by: her children, Lonnie Gilbert "Gil" Allen (Robyn) and Angela Allen Edwards (Edwin); her grandchildren, Megan Haney (Mark) of Hoover, AL, Miles Allen (Ashley) of Forsyth, Matthew Edwards (Ashley) of Dublin, Dustin Edwards (Emily) of Gray and Morgan Edwards of Dublin; her stepgrandchildren, Ross and Will Griffith; and her great grandchildren, Caroline, Bailey, Brooks, Ollie Reese, Lydia Mae, Everly Jane, Elijah John and Grace Garner. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mary Whitaker Townsend Memorial Chapel (215 W Jackson St, Dublin, GA 31021). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
