He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas B. Abney and Susie Abney. He is survived by: his siblings, Frank Abney, Clara Lou Abney, J. T. Abney and Monty Abney; his wife Ruby Abney of Cochran; his daughters, Carla Hon (Butch) of Cochran and Dawn Jacobs (John) of Cochran; his grandchildren, T. J. LeGuin (Brandi), Jessie Robinson (Tony), Brittanie Davis (Auston), Dr. Cameron Garvin (Katie) and Ethan Hon (Ashlee); and his great grandchildren, Trey Wilson, Cook LeGuin, Reese Garvin, Calder Garvin, Mathews Monroe Garvin, Abram Miller, Brayden Hon, Presley Brooke Hon and Isaac Hon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
