It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Buddy M. NeSmith Jr. (Cochran, Georgia), born in Eastman, Georgia, who passed away on September 14, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Buddy M. NeSmith, Sr. and Mary Wilhelmina "Wena" Hunt NeSmith; and his former wife Beverly Reeves NeSmith. He is survived by: his son Howell Hunt NeSmith; his daughter-in-law Sahar Sarraf NeSmith; his granddaughter Taliazhin "Tali" Starr NeSmith; his fiancée Susan Greene; his sisters, Liz NeSmith McKey and Marie NeSmith Fletcher; his brothers-in-law, Dwight McKey and Keith Fletcher; and his nieces and nephews, Diana, James, Lily and William.
