He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl LaRue and Neola Bonnette Burton; his brother-in-law Jimmy Bowen; his nephew Kelly Bowen; and his sister-in-law Barbara J. Lanasa.
He is survived by: his daughter Tracy Kwiatkowski (Joseph); his grandchildren, Kylee, Keira and Kaleb Kwiatkowski (United States Army) of Glendale; his daughter-in-law Jennifer Patrick; his granddaughter Peyton of Pitts; his siblings, Norma Bowen of Hawkinsville, Mary St. John (Brian) of Vidor, Iris Oberry (Gregory) of Cochran, Stephen Burton (Phyllis) of Cochran, Carl Patrick Burton (Maureen) of Spirit Lake and Ralph Burton of Metairie; and also Emerson Michael Piland of Mansfield. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
