She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Buchan Young and Wilbur Young; her husband Charles Smith; her children, Connie Odom and Tony Smith; her grandson Brian Smith; her great grandchild Kenna Smith; and her sisters, Olene Slade, Carol Howard and Rose Burch.
She is survived by: her children, Vicky Dykes (Don), Ronnie Smith (Wendy) and Larry "Runt" Smith (Lorie); her grandchildren, Jason Dykes (Carrie), Dustin Dykes (Hartley), Brad Smith (Danielle) and Ashley Hutchinson; and her great grandchildren, Lane Dykes, Riley, Logan Johnson, Anna, Tyler, Colton, Cooper Dykes, Cohen and Caroline Smith.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mathis Funeral Home (151 E Dykes St, Cochran, GA 31014). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
