Dempsey and Wendell Dempsey; her husband Billy Braswell of Cochran; her children, Gene Braswell of Cochran and Kerri Carter (Zachary) of Macon; her grandchildren, Evan Carter and Morgan Carter; her siblings, Fay Rutherford, Judy Cabrera (Orlando) and David Dempsey (Marolyn); and her siblings-in-law, Bertie Sue Dempsey, Betty Dempsey, Jean Hewett (Joe), Mary Ann Braswell, Roger Braswell, Jerry Braswell (Shirley) and Earl Braswell (Betty). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
