She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ben N. Knighton and Sadie Roland Knighton; her spouse Howard Thompson; her siblings, Nellie Roberts, Brenda Knighton, Irene Johnson, Joe Knighton, Melton Knighton and Bennie Knighton; her husband Shorty Little of Cochran; her daughter Gale Maynard (Joe) of Cochran; her stepson Chuck Little (Laura); and her siblings, Opal Mullis of Cochran, Claudia Ellington (Kenneth) of Montrose, Elton Knighton (Faye) and Ray Knighton (JoAnn) of Cochran. She was also cherished by three step-grandchildren and six step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
