It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benjamin King Dennard of Cochran, Georgia, born in Pineview, Georgia, who passed away on January 22, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Melancton Dennard and Verna King Dennard; and his siblings, Mary Ida Hill, Jean Williams, Ann Livingston and Charles Dennard.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Spratling Dennard of Cochran; his children, Verna Ramage (Wayne) of Cochran, Benny Dennard (Vickie) of Cochran and Stevie Dennard (Debra) of Cochran; his sister Gay Kirkpatrick (John) of Cochran; his grandchildren, Matt Ramage (Kim), Melissa Churchwell (Justin) and Kyle Dennard (Katelyn); and his great grandchildren, Taylor Ramage, Amye Kayte Ramage, Ruthie Ramage and Weston Churchwell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the donor's charity of choice or Mount Calvary Baptist Church Building Fund, 134 Abney Road, Cochran, GA 31014.
