Barbara Bass Chance Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Bass Chance of Cochran, Georgia, who passed away on June 29, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Buck Bass and Wilma Jean Curtis Bass; her spouse Glen Chance; and her sister Sheryl Grimes. She is survived by: her children, Donald Chance, Josh Chance (Traci) and Leana Roberson (Edward); her sisters, Teresa Anderson (Jerry) and Diann Harrison (Robert); her brother-in-law Wendell Grimes; her grandchildren, Brendan Mullis, Katlyn Baird, Chasity Roberson and Layla Roberson; her great grandchild Hayden Ruggles; and her godchildren, Frankie Lee Mullis, Jr. and Leansly Simmons.
In Lieu of Flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Bleckley County Board of Education to benefit the Century 21 Program, 259 Peter Street, Cochran, GA 31014.
