He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Jarriel and Delores Jarriel; his wife Kelly Patterson Jarriel of Cobbtown; his daughter Stacy; his son-in-law Russ Yeomans of Swainsboro; his son Mandi Jarriel of Metter; his grandchildren, Kate Yeomans of Swainsboro, Maranda Usry of Sandy Springs, Ander, Adley and Aida Jarriel of Metter; and his sisters, Patsy Blalock (David) of Vidalia, Hilda Collins (Joey), Karen Paradise (Greg) of Collins and Harriet Smith (Spurgeon) of Glenville. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
