He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Garza and Francis Garza; and his sisters, Irene Garza and Diana Garza. He is survived by: his wife Jan Crook of Jan's Hauling; his daughters, Sandy Garza Goodwin of Statesboro, Tonnette Garza-Prevatt (David) of Jacksonville and Amanda Garza Sutton (Kevin) of Cobbtown; and his grandchildren, Jonathan Alexander, Christopher "Watermellon" Garza (Alyssa), Corinthia Morris, Amorette "Apple Pie" Garza, Courtney "Cortozone" Whitfield, Angel "Boney Butt" Garza, Ashlynn "Gator" Goodwin, Tuari "Trucker" Fitzwater, Sonnette "Wiggly" Fitzwater, Robie, Clean, Jameson Prevatt, Robert Garza, III, Aaron Garza, Isaac Garza, Jacob Garza and Cody Garza. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kennedy Funeral Homes~cobbtown Chapel (GA-121, Cobbtown, GA). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Kennedy Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel (37196 GA-23, Cobbtown, GA 30420). A burial will be held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
