She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ottis and Frances Wilson Grice; her husband Jacky Brown; her brother Larry Grice; and her father-in-law Tommy (Daisy Brown).
She is survived by: her children, Ann Malphrus (Robin) of Ridgeland, SC, Jeff Brown (Kelley) of Lyons, GA and Chris Brown of Cobbtown, GA; her grandchildren, Ashleigh Smith (Chris) of Grays, SC, Emily Meador (Daniel) of Hardeeville, SC, Landon O'Neal of Dublin, GA and Riley Brown of Ellabell, GA.; her great grandchildren, Kate and Olivia Meador of Hardeeville, SC.; her sisters, Pat Dekle (Dewey) and Clara Monroe of Metter, GA.; her siblings-in-law, Ray Brown (Betty) of Cobbtown, GA, Raymond Brown (Betty) of Collins, GA, June Sikes of Cobbtown, GA, Jean Crooms (James) of Metter, Dot Grice of Portal, GA. and Charles "Booney" Monroe; and her nephews, Steve Monroe, Chad Dekle, Patrick Monroe, Devin Dekle and Tyler Kirkland. She is also survived by nieces and nephews who all loved their Aunt "Lane", along with her many cousins.
