He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Bowen and Netter Kicklighter Bowen; his brother Isaac Bowen; and his half-sister Wynell Herrington. He is survived by: his niece Jennifer Walker (Willis); his great-nieces, Mollie Walker and Destiny Willis (Daniel); his great-nephew Jordan Walker; and his close friends, Melba Gerrald, Ricky and Liz Walker.
