He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Harper and Betsy Marie Johnson; his son Gerald Harper; and his half-sister Adele Messick. He is survived by: his son Arthur Harper Jr.; his grandson Aaron Harper; and his sister Ona Anderson.
A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sunlight Cemetery (204 Sunlight St, Cobbtown, GA 30420).
