He is survived by: his sons, William Claude "Mitch" Mitchell, III (Elaine) of Warthen and Charles McRoy "Charlie" Mitchell of Villa Rica; his siblings, Mickey Brinkley (Barbara) of Ellijay, Skip Mitchell (Pam) of Jackson, Claudia Harper (Bill) of Marietta and Pat Simms of Sparks, NV; his grandson William Christopher Mitchell; and his friend William 'Bill' Rigby.
