With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wardell Magee Sr. of Cobb, Georgia, who passed away on April 7, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius, Sr. Magee and Almeta Magee; and his sister Eva Nell Simon. He is survived by: his wife Marie Holmes Magee; his child Wardell Magee, Jr.; his stepchildren, Angel Colar-Young, Mjamo, Raashad and Ahmad Colar; his siblings, Linda Magee-Jones, Dorothy Magee Williams (Andre), Jerry (Meryl), Larry (Donies), Calvin, Betty and Cornelius Magee, Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Warren, Sr., Gwen of Washington, Henry Jr. (Sylvia), James Holmes, Lucille Collins (Marvin, Sr.) and Jacqueline Edwards. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and longtime friends.
