We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2021, at the age of 84, Marvin Wendell Conner Jr. of Cobb, Georgia, born in Abbeville, Georgia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marvin Wendell Conner Jr. to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Wendell Conner, Sr. and Susie Ann Hunter Conner; his son Marvin Wendell Conner III; his brother Wayne Conner; and his brother-in-law John Fredrick Yeackle.

He is survived by: his wife Lynda Lou Yeackle Conner of Cobb; his children, Karen Allen of Americus and Troy F. Conner; his daughter-in-law Tricia of Hondo, TX.; his grandchildren, Thomas H. Allen (Rebecca) and Taylor Allen (Chelsea); and his great grandchildren, Lincoln Conner Allen, Jack Wengerd Allen and Carter George Allen.

Memorial contributions may be made to Lake Shore Baptist Church 151 Lake Shore Drive Cordele, GA. 31015.

“Lynda, Berney and I were so sorry to hear of Wink's passing! The Lanier High School sent us a message just today! It was a shock, as we thought Wink was doing so good!! No one let Berney know that he had died! Berney thought the world of Wink and has always enjoyed Wink's comical stories and upbeat demeanor! He was quite the character and will be truly missed! Berney used to go visit him quite often in Albany, just to talk to him! We will be praying for you to find peace and comfort. Love you!”
