In the vast expanse of eternity, Donald Elwin William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donald Elwin William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lillie and Dorothy Cecilia Hofschulte Lillie; and his wife Maxine Wohlers Lillie. He is survived by: his children, Robyn Ratajczak (Tom) of Asheville and Thom Lillie of Smyrna, GA; and his grandchildren, Todd Ratajczak, Ross Ratajczak and Camille Lillie. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the West Family Funeral Services (17 Merrimon Ave, Weaverville, NC 28787). A burial will be held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Cheatham Hill Cemetery (1861 Dallas Hwy, Marietta, GA 30064).
