She is survived by: her husband Joseph David Hughes; her sons, William "Tripp" Franklin Ballard and Wesley "Tye" Ballard (Jennifer); her granddaughter Stephanie Caroline Moore; her great grandchild Daxton William Moore; her stepmother Miriam Sumner; her half-brothers, Arthur Sumner (Doris) and Burton Sumner (Karen); and her close friend Tara McMinn Arrowood.
