She was predeceased by: her parents, William Hyman and Myrtie Hyman; her husband Johnnie "Berry" Edwards; and her sons, Johnny Edwards and Mitchell Edwards.
She is survived by: her daughters, Ethel Edwards of Clyo and Polly Edwards of Guyton. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
