She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Edward Hamilton Porter and Irene Elizabeth Stewart Porter; her husband Bobby Dean Brown; and her brother Ross Porter. She is survived by: her sons, Robert Ashley Brown, John Ross Brown, David Hamilton Brown and Michael Lance Brown; her stepdaughters, Deborah Kay Brooks and Charlotte Michelle Wall (Abram); her sister Diane Murial Porter; and her grandchildren, Audree Claire Brown, Liam Wall, Ethan Wall, Richard Brooks, Candice Brooks and Chantal Brooks.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to the Cloudland Volunteer Fire Department, the Salvation Army, or St. Jude's Children Research Hospital.
