He was predeceased by: his parents, Dance Josey and Frances Kelly Josey; and his brother-in-law Ricky Helms. He is survived by: his wife Sandra H. Josey; his children, Charles, Shanon Josey of Marianna, FL, Ricky, Angela Grubbs of Attapulgus, GA, Gracie Huckeba, Oliver of Eustis, FL, Amber Grubbs and Tim; his siblings, Vicky of Climax, GA, Jackie Thomas of Climax, GA, Patricia of Climax, GA, Wayne Blanton of Climax, GA and Nancy Josey of Climax, GA; his grandchildren, Gauge, Raydin, Ali, Lailah, Arabella, Parker, Brydon, Kimberly, Sophia and Isaiah; and his pets, Sock and Rascal. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
