She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul H. Trulock Jr. and Margretta McGavock Trulock; and her brother Paul Hines Trulock III. She is survived by: her husband William Thad Pettyjohn of Climax; her daughters, Gretta (Johnny Smith) of Greenville and Margaret (Trent Joy) of Navarre, Florida; her granddaughters, Mary Grace Smith and Elizabeth McGavock Smith; her stepgrandson Thomas Trent Joy (Abigail); and her brother Robert McGavock Trulock (Anne Lambert Trulock). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
