She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Ponder and Lilian Mills Ponder; her husbands, Raymond Johnson and Clifford Wells; her son-in-law Herbert Donalson; and her siblings, O'Neal Ponder, Wesley Ponder, Tess Ponder Bryant, Willie Ponder Copeland, Edgar Ponder, Leland Ponder and Mary Ponder Hill.
She is survived by: her children, Martha Johnson Donalson of Thomasville, GA, Jimmy Johnson (Debbie) of Cairo, GA, Joyce Johnson Halstead (Doug) of Thomasville, GA and Larry Wells (Marsha) of North Carolina. She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren; and a host of great-and great-great-grandchildren.
Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, those attending are asked to maintain the recommended safe social distancing of six feet and/or wear protective masks in accordance with the State of Georgia guidelines.
